Does anyone else think that Real Jock should have their site "Re-Vamped?" I mean its great and all, but the profile options are limited compared to other socail networks. Also chatrooms would be nice... not just IM. I understand membership may be required for such features, but if facebook, and myspace can do it... why not Real Jock? it'd be more fun. On and the colors have to go. Yellow, Red, Brownish tan? Yuck!

Also a spell check/grammar feature would be sweet on here, as I type with two fingers and stare at the keyboard and am unaware for any error I create. Yes i can go back and edit, (believe it or not i have been told by many professors I write at a upper graduate level)... but I'm just too lazy or tired most of the time and/or are so excited to get my post up... I skip/forget the editing revising processes. Furthermore, I'm a horrible speller! hahaI have objective proof too.

Anyways, what do u think? what would you change on Real Jock?

there are chatrooms already have a look next to the mail link at the top where it says "chat"

You can get spell checking if you use firefox or opera which you should be using anyway

The colour scheme is simple, but it works, i also keeps each page file size small..

I'm used to realjock being the way it is.. so.. hmm icon_smile.gif

well right now the site is apparently on crack, so revamp or not, rehab may be in order...

I click on my inbox, open a mail and end up on the home page, I hit in box again and the new mail has vanished icon_eek.gif

Can we talk about a new color pallet because I was thinking of pushing for texture and jewel tone accents.

I believe the RJ team have always told us that the site is a work in progress. They add things as they can.

The site improvements over even the last year have been great. We didn't used to have embedded videos or music, you couldn't post pictures into forum topics or replies, couldn't delete your own topics etc etc.

So a revamp? Not really needed.
Just a continuous improvement policy will do.

I'd like to see some MODERATORS put in forums instead of invisible realjock admins deleting people's profiles without ANY explanation.

I don't have a problem with RJ as is, but every site needs to be updated on a regular basis... and this one is no exception. "Spell check" is a good idea and should probably be added sometime soon.

Firefox has an add-on that checks your spelling in all such forums. It's pretty useful

Firefox should spell check any input box you write in automatically.
