I've been taping my knuckles and hitting on the heavy bag. I believe it's helping with my arm definition. Does anybody else do this and can share their routines?

I do this a couple of times a week on the heavy bag in my living room. I set the timer for 3 minutes on my microwave and then drop to the floor for pushups and abs for another 3 minutes and repeat for 30 minutes. Its a damn good workout.

I do it twice a week. But for different reasons. I do it to kinda build up my threshold for pain and make my fists stronger

Doesn't that set you up for poor flexibility and some arthritis-like stuff down the line, Rad?

Are you wrapping your wrists? I know Boxing strikes aren't the same as in the Eastern martial arts but the damage that can happen crosses that boundary. Obviously never tuck your thumb. If you do wrap your wrists hit lighter to gain form, your body should be moving as a unit. With hard strikes when comfortable with form unwrap your wrists and at some point go bare. Now I sound like a porn director...Debbie does Dallas.

Discovered that my wrists are susceptible to pain with kickboxing. I'm thinking that the angle is wrong when I shoot the chin.

    Thoughts?
