Alan Grayson has a number of supporters here on RJ.

    http://www.breitbart.com/InstaBlog/2014/03/04/Democrat-Alan-Grayson-Under-Investigation-After-Domestic-Violence-Complaint

Statement from the Sheriff documented here:
    http://touch.orlandosentinel.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-79518636/

According to the petition, Lolita Grayson was preparing to take the couple's two youngest children to a play date when Alan Grayson "showed up, unannounced" and asked to speak with her inside.

After she refused, retrieved his mail and asked him to leave, Alan Grayson "then deliberately and with force pushed [Lolita Grayson] very hard against the front door, causing [her] to fall to the ground as a result," the petition states.

She told her husband not to touch her, then pushed him in the face and kneed him in the stomach "in order to protect and defend herself" before calling 911, her petition says.

As she was talking to the operator, Alan Grayson told his wife, in the presence of their children, that she "would receive nothing" in their divorce and would be left "in the gutter," the petition states.

Photos filed by Lolita Grayson's attorneys with the petition show large bruises to her left leg and left shoulder.

I wonder why Breitbart left out the part about a witness being there?

If the guy is guilty, throw the book at him.

Oh, you mean like House Member Wiener from NY was, and had to resign? Dems dumped on him pretty quick, for merely posting lewd Facebook pics.

Versus characters like mens room predator US Senator Larry "wide-stance" Craig, who got to finish out his term, while Repubs did nothing. Or how about Louisiana Senator Vitter and his prostitution ring? I note he's still in office, and has never been formally reprimanded, either.

But perhaps your view from Canada isn't so clear on these US matters. If you're going to lecture US citizens on our politics, at least try to get all the facts, OK?

You're talking about the Riddler here. Those few facts that don't confuse him actually annoy him.

Versus 17 yr old congressional page predator Barney Frank who got to finish out his term? And then of course there was that Steve Gobie thingie that Barney did get a house reprimand for I believe.

Glad you brought up Wiener. Seems your view of history is a bit distorted considering how long it took to throw him off the boat.

The man is a partisan thug - just watch him speak -

Apparently he also thinks Martin Bashir is a "tea party collaborator"

Actually he got thrown overboard by the Dems pretty quickly. And for a relatively minor indiscretion. He hadn't even broken any laws, unlike some other Republican office holders who continue to serve to this day. Can you remind us how long ago it was that still-serving family values US Senator Vitter was caught in an illegal prostitution ring?

But maybe your reports up in Canada were what were delayed, resulting in your own distortion of the facts regarding Wiener. Yah know, if you actually lived here in the States you might get some of this correct. Maybe you need a time-out from commenting on things you obviously know nothing about.

I certainly don't condone violence, but I've been around enough to know that stuff happens in the middle of divorce. Unless someone actually got hurt, I'm inclined to not take sides. Sounds to me like he was trying to get by her to collect his mail. She then hit him in the face, kneed him in the stomach (bet she missed her target) and boo-hoo'd about how violent he is. I've seen much more violence from women than from men.

Lol says the guy who doesn't even know how to actually spell Wiener's name. The biggest problem was that he lied about it and kept doing it. And no, it wasn't a short period. In fact he was in the lead in the mayoral race until it was discovered he was still sending lewd pictures of himself.

Proving your lie. As soon as that revelation occurred, his campaign collapsed, his poll numbers for NYC mayor tanked. Which had never put him in a clear lead for any period.

And previously, as soon as it was revealed he had sent lewd pics on Facebook his Congressional career collapsed, and fellow Democrats forced him to resign. Anything like that happen to Vitter or Craig with Repubicans?

Are you on something? Your revisionism is breathtaking. But then, you can be excused for being a Canadian and not aware of US politics.

It's kind of difficult to ask for forgiveness for an offense when you're still doing it - which was the problem with Wiener. What of Barney Frank? Or another sexual predator Bill Clinton? Imagine a Republican getting caught doing the same thing.

Maybe you really don't understand the difference between Wiener and say Vitter - and quite probably Grayson who just called his wife crazy. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt given your history.

I well recall when Mrs Palin, was running for office, there was no lack of attacks or depth to their depravity when it came to attacking women and their family's, from the leftist here at RJ. Talk about people who live in glass houses. icon_redface.gificon_twisted.gif

Frank should have resigned in 1989. Instead his amoral district voted him back into office for another 20 years.

MA Governor Duval Patrick redistricted Frank to a new district (likely at the direction of the Obama White House) where Frank would lose reelection so Frank chose not to run.

Well I don't have the full story, but there are always two sides to the story, and in this he said-she said situation, unfortunately there will be a lot of people who rush to judgement on him.

As a society we seem to be so used to this idea that violent women who put their hands on men have a legitimate reason for doing so...but the reality is that there really is never a good reason for putting your hands on someone else unless your vary well being is at acute risk!

Meh. No charges, only being investigated.

Whether he beat his bitch or not - he's still a big douche.
