I met a few guys recently who of course were pretty built and actually really attractive. Of course eventually everyone gives you the top or bottom question. Which doesn't bother me as much as it did a few years ago . Anyways when I tell them top they get a little smile, or a sparkle in their eyes. So I finally told one of these guys my observations and he said he's mostly top because people always expect him to be top so he only gets to bottom 30% of the time.. so do you guys think body composition directly effects sexually role?

you got existential problems...i dated both top and bottom...i dont think the sexual role should be a definition if u like of not a guy...after all he is a guy and ur a guy...sometimes things change...i honestly like vers guys more because they know what there doing and they like to make sex fun...icon_razz.gif

I think it's some kind of heteronormative view that associates tops, as more masculine guys, since they're doing the fucking, and bottoms, as more feminine guys, since they're getting fucked. Then again, this view doesn't leave much room for vers guys.

Obviously, this is mostly perpetuated by the porn industry, which is what most gay guys use to compare their sex, bodies, body hairs, etc. to

It's stupid, it's shallow, and it's super presumptuous. Just like how not all gays are super effeminate like some tv shows would have us believe, not all tops are super buff rugged behemoths, and not all bottoms are high-pitched twinks who sashay with every step.

For whatever reason (prejudice, hetero-normative worldviews, etc.) it is a fact: Taller, heavier, older men are generally assumed to take the top role, whereas shorter, slimer, and younger men are generally assumed to take the bottom role.

Yes exceptions exist. Yes no rule is perfect. But this is reality. For that reason alone, and because I come off as super masculine and dominant, I tell people right up front I'm an insatiable bottom. If you just say what you are up front, it stops all this drama and hypothesizing, in my opinion.
