My older brother and I have been sharing the same room since we were little and it's not fair....

they won't let me stay in the dorms since my school isn't too distant, but we have a spare bedroom that my mom uses for her exercise equipment. That should be my room.

My brother is a bum, 27 still living at home. He don't even work, he's at home all day smoking weed. And his girlfriend hogs our bathroom so by time I get home, she's in there takin hour showers, playing with her hair etc.

I wanna experience dorm life so badly

act a lot more gay and nekkid and maybe your brother will move to the other room.

really though, school should be taking up more of your time, it wont matter where you sleep, your room will only be for crashing. Alternatively, get a boyfriend and sleep at his house.

Sounds like your parents are paying for your college.
Your payment back to them is to let your mammy keep her exercise room and be grateful for the free room and board right now.
One day, you'll get to pay all the bills, THEN you can have any room in the house you want.

For the moment, enjoy the word FREE.

When you start paying all the bills, doing your own laundry, cleaning the house, and cooking the meals around here, maybe then I'll let you choose your own room. Until that happens, get upstairs and make your bed. If you don't like the way things are in this house, perhaps the couple we bought you from would let you pick the room of your choice in their house.icon_mad.gif

    Ha.
For 2 years, I slept on a roll-away bed, in the middle of my mother's living room.
Plus, I worked weekends and whenever I had a college semester break.
I didn't have my own bedroom until I finished college and got my own apartment.

On a serious note, I would talk to your mother about that, especially since it seems like your brother isn't contributing to the household (you didn't mention that you work or not, but IMO you going to school is more productive though it wouldn't hurt to look for a job to have your own money). However, if your parents are letting you stay rent-free, the least you could do is let your mom keep her gym room.

On a humorous/semi-serious note, give your brother The Naked Roommate treatment. He'll get sick of seeing your bare body and move somewhere else. If that doesn't work, break out the porn. icon_confused.gif

pellaz saidask to move your mom's exercise equipment to the basement

You ain't from around here is ya? LOL No, in CA we have very few basements. We're at sea level so you're more likely to create a pool than a basement! Good thought though.

You might consider walking in on your brother's gf a couple of times, that might convince her to avoid the bathroom when you're around icon_smile.gif Also, depending on what part of town you live, there's usually a bath in the master bedroom….you might start using that so that your parents know that you'd use the other if it wasn't always occupied by your brother's gf!!
