Evidently, those Blackhawks players must be from Canada since they are doing a commercial for Bank of Montreal.

Well if Bank of Montreal (BMO) has US branch offices and they are that good of a bank to do business with than it would be nice if they set their sites on Buffalo and open up a few branches here and give M&T Bank, First Niagara, Bank of America, and KeyBank some intense competition.

Most of the Canadian banks have rebranded US retail banks. You'll notice not so long ago Bank of Montreal became BMO, Bank of Nova Scotia became Scotia Bank, The Royal bank of Canada dropped the crown from its logo and renamed RBC. Toronto Dominion became TD. Now they're all safely non-foreign to operate in the US market and won't scare away customers by being Canadian.

If I remember correctly some big gasoline companies in the US are British; for example Shell Oil. I was surprised to learn that they're British. And BP obviously; British Petroleum.
