Exercises with Neck Harness

    I got one of those Grizzly neck harnesses off of eBay and think it's pretty spiffy.

    Do I need to alternate doing the forward and backwards exercises, or do they all work the same muscles?

    Forward being where I'm standing sorta and my face is pointed to the floor/forward, and backwards where I'm on my back with my head hanging over the bed.

    I've always been jealous of those thick necks football players have and figured I would get one myself.

    Meh! I just tired the backward one where I'm on my back and I can barely do 4 reps with 2.5lbs! The forward one I use 15lbs!

    Think I'm going to just stick with the forward one, the backward ones feels gimmicky and I'm not going to risk injury to my neck/spine. I'll just do the backward one sans harness.

    its important to do some warm up neck rolls before you do them.
