Too funny! Who knew? If the article didn't inform us that they were foreign parties with an American theme, they would just look like patriotic parties.

lol. There's one pic that says American Pie - but it looks like a bowl of soup. icon_question.gif

Then the marshmallow on a stick pic says LSD on the label. icon_question.gificon_question.gificon_question.gif

    ...!

I assume it's apple pie. It's in a pie form like we use in Germany and you can see the crust.

When I lived in Germany American cowboy parties were popular - any excuse to wear leather chaps, vests and boots. But they also held an annual rodeo, in Berlin of all places. Actually pretty good, although like watching a US movie that had been dubbed in German. "Achtung, meine Damen und Herren. Und hier ist..." But then German musical groups would be singing Country Western in perfectly accented US CW English. It made your head spin.

Duckfaced selfies and red cups. I guess we deserve that.

America is fun. No one would have a France party, after all.

Speaking of which, note to French girls attending America Parties: Please shave your pits for authenticity.

I guess a French-themed party would have unshaved pits... and lots of frogs.

An American would never eat hamburgers directly off a plastic tray with no tray liner. Those things never get washed.icon_eek.gif
