We all have heard music that makes us go "whyyyyy?" from time to time. These are mine:

Besides the obvious Rebecca Black, what are some songs that you guys wished never happened?

    McArthur Park:

"Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again, oh noooooo"

But there IS more. Mix a bad song with bad campy gay performances, and you get:

I don't know, I feel like Barbie Girl is such a gay classic. I know straight guys that love that song too. To do anyway with that one might not be such a good idea, at least for me.

Too many to choose from but here are three of the worst. The third, it isn't the song which Dylan did well, but the cover which has to be the suckiest EVER! icon_eek.gif

You feel this way because you consider it a disco vehicle for Donna Summer.

If you knew it debuted in 1968, intended as one for Richard Harris, you'd feel differently. When he sings it, it makes complete sense:

Valid point, EM, but it did help to be stoned out of your gourd on about 300µg of LSD. Then the lyrics did make PERFECT sense! icon_exclaim.gif

Short of 300µg of the heady stuff, a few hits off the bong and this version will also make TOTAL sense:

This map shows each state's least favorite band of all time.

This song is so bad, I had to pause it for just the few seconds it took to get the embed code.

    So many...

But I'd have to say whatever that monotonous auto-tuned garage-banded train wreck is that they play incessantly in every gay bar in the country right now. They give it different titles and different "artists" names, every few minutes, but it's all the same fucking song.

Basically everything since the 90s should just be stripped out of history and stuffed into a wormhole.

That map is old. I believe the latest census results indicate that Nickelback is the least favorite band of all time in each state. icon_biggrin.gif

Au contraire, I was peciseley thinking of Richard Harris! Like I believe Mr. Harris bakes cakes. Watch his "dramatic" performance of this song next time you inadvertantly swallow poison. It may save your life!

By the way, I am insulted that you assumed I thought of the disco version!
