Well, the OP reminds me of a story.

I'm a flight attendant and as part of our jobs, we get hotel rooms when we're on duty out of our hometown...

We were in Toronto and a girl from our crew got into her room and though she saw someone in the room so she excused herself and got out the room immediately, thinking there was an error. She went back to the reception and she was told her room wasn't supposed to be occupied, so they went together and realized it was empty. It must've been the room cleaning lady or something like that...

The morning after, she was late at the hotel check out. Our captain called her and she told us that, as stupid as it sounded, she couldn't find her shoes. Another flight attendant went with her and looked in the room and they finally found the shoes under her bed.

There was a note in one of the shoes, saying : "You're beautiful when you sleep".

She didn't come to work. We all got creeped out, and since then, I always do a "round check" in my rooms and double-lock them.

Creepiest thing I've ever heard of.

    Haha awesome story.

Well this happened to me once, when I was 13 or so I was sleeping in the same bedroom than my sister. I hear her say something so I turn around and see her staring right at me with big yellow eyes. I freaked out jumped out the bed and turned the lights on but she was sound asleep.

I'm not the type to be paranoid, but in this particular situation, something just seemed very off. So I was walking to work one morning, which is about a two mile walk. There was this commuter bus parked a couple of blocks from where I live and I passed it when I came down the hill and cross at the intersection.

So, about a few blocks up, the bus comes up the street and then parks again after I've crossed another intersection. I knew it was the same bus, because it had a picture of a talk show host on the side and there were no other buses out at that time. Sometimes, I cut up a side street that connects to the street the mall is located on. After I do this, I notice the same bus again and it circles the block twice as I'm walking. The crazy thing is, the buses were not even in service at the time and this particular bus didn't even service the the area that it was circling. It might have been nothing, but something just seemed very eerie about it and I didn't like it.

Thanks a lot, Scruffy! When I turned out the lights to go to bed last night I had this irrational fear that someone was peeking at me through the crack of my door.

Needless to say I slept with my door closed all night and my weights placed up against it icon_eek.gif

I went through a period when I really hated attending college classes. I'd sleep through my alarm clock, or fall right back asleep after canceling it, and so miss my morning classes.

And then I started having trouble finding my car keys. I'd swear I had put them in the same place in my room each day before, yet each morning they weren't there and I'd have to go hunting all around the room for them, wasting time.

One day I couldn't find the keys at all, and I was going through drawers and all the clothes I had, everything. Suddenly I got the idea to look between the bed mattress and the box spring. Sure enough that's where they were, a full arm's length in from the edge.

No way could they have accidentally gotten caught there, like if they had fallen out of my pocket. They were PLACED there, to prevent me from driving to class. And yet who would have entered my bedroom at night, with me asleep on the bed, and done that?

And equally significantly, why had I even thought to look there? Would YOU, if your car keys were missing?

I finally concluded I was doing these things while sleepwalking. And I carried a very vague subconscious memory of it, that allowed me to eventually find them the next morning. And I wonder if some of these people experiencing weird nighttime occurrences aren't doing the same?

My solution, BTW, was to work on reducing my overall stress. And guess what? My keys began staying in place during the night, no more mysterious relocations.
