These assault courses need to have lots of green slime involved somewhere for the nostalgia factor icon_biggrin.gif

Is this training in the ninja-model....MORE difficult than the Cross-fit competition schedule?>

in general, there would be a different skill-set practiced here, but how?>

    it's way different than crossfit.
that's like comparing apples to oranges icon_smile.gif
Just depends what you like more. Both have their challenges.

This is definitely all body-weight training.

I'd love to play around on those. Not competitively, but it it looks like a lot of fun, and enjoyment of moving your body around on these obstacles.

Dude, those are some great obstacles you've built! I love the videos.
I'm going to be running my fourth Tough Mudder next week and have started the Spartan series of races, Warrior dash and a few others planned.
Obstacle course running is so much more fun than traditional races. It's much more solitary than organized sports as well.

I think I fell in love because the courses continually challenged me and pushed me to do harder and see what more I'm capable of.

I have recommended obstacle courses to a ton of people and have gotten family and friends to join me on numerous occasions.
It's definitely a different crowd than normal and usually pretty motivating in a generally positive atmosphere.

Thanks for posting your videos; they felt very genuine knowing your back story too.

In the spirit of sharing here is the first of my Spartan races (just a couple of the obstacles) I recorded on my new camera. I'll be recording the upcoming Tough mudder too.
