Just out of curiosity. I've heard some people get it in the late 20's, and some never get it at all. Just curious to hear some of the opinions from fellow RJ members.

I just feel my journey to becoming a muscle bear will never be real if I can't grow a proper beard! Grrr! icon_evil.gif

Sometime in my teens. But I still can't grow a proper beard. That goatee in my pic is all I can do. My cheeks are a barren wasteland, with only a few hairs, which, of course, are a pain to shave.

Ahhh I'm afraid of this! My moustache won't fully grow, and I have a few stray hairs on my cheeks! What gives?! Gimme a beard already genetics! icon_evil.gif

My pubes appeared at 12, and I was shaving daily at 13. Had a full heavy beard all over, although at that age in school I couldn't grow it. I also developed hairy arms & legs.

Yet my chest was hairless, I didn't develop a furry chest until my 30s. Then my back & ass went hairy in my late 40s, which I didn't want at all. Meanwhile my legs lost almost all their hair, but not my arms.

So men will have these selective growth & loss patterns over time, hard to predict what you will get. It may be hereditary, therefore your male relatives might give you some idea what to expect. I did follow my own father pretty closely.

Grew a mustache when I was 21 and have never shaved it off in over 30 years. It's also a cosmetic thing but most people have never seen me without facial hair, not my ex, not my kids and no one I've worked with for the past 30 years.

Moustache at 14, chest hair at 16, full beard at 19.

Started loosing my always thin "baby fine" hair in my late 20's.

about 24-25, yeah, I don't like the scruffy look though, always shave, trim and keep it clean cut.

I'm 20 and still none. If I grow some by my late 20's and I remember, I'll get back to you.

From what I can see, you won't be able to grow a full beard.

First started growing around 17, but didn't need to shave daily until around 23, and grew the first decent-looking full beard at 27.

Probably around 14, 15, but it was very little facial hair, the mustache area. Slowly more kept coming in and I had complete facial hair around 21 or 22, although at that time it took a week to fully grow in, and then some time after that weekly shaving turned into daily shaving.
