Mitt Romney was called out during his unsuccessful presidential run for claiming that a Chrysler plant in Ohio would shutter and ship the jobs overseas to China. The CEO of Chrysler Group, LLC is among those who rebuked his assertion.

Chrysler is now planning on hiring 1,000 part-time workers in Ohio to help with the workload currently faced by factory workers who have been working 60-hour work weeks.

This is not the first round of hiring part-time employees for the job. Chrysler already hired 380 new employees, converting 50 of them to full-time.
