    Interesting...

It’s easy to think of caffeine and our national obsession with stimulants as a recent phenomenon, but it’s not. Consider this statement: “A chemical substance which stimulates brain, nerves, and muscles, is a daily necessity and is used by every single nation. When there is fatigue and the food is diminished such a stimulant is indispensable, and must be an ingredient of every reserve and emergency ration.” That’s from the 1896 Report of the Secretary of War, and more than a century later, the U.S. military is still trying to figure out how best to caffeinate soldiers. A handy result of this is that military scientists have conducted some of the most useful research on caffeine.

Another of your incessant US slams. You had to reach back over 100 years for this one. What IS your obsession with knocking the US? Is there NO news about your country of residence, Canada, worth posting here? How about your country of origin, China? We never hear about China, which might be of interest, and that you would know more about than the US.

Where is the slam here? I think it's pretty cool. You might want to see someone about your self esteem issues. Incidentally, you racist dumbass, my country of origin isn't China.

    "Inside the crazy lab..."

"... more than a century later, the U.S. military is still trying to figure out how best to caffeinate soldiers..."

Yep, totally respectful of the US military.

And BTW, previously you listed your secondary residence as Hong Kong, China. And said that was your background, where you originated. Along with the company for which you worked being there, off-shoring US jobs to mainland China.

I'm not the only one here who remembers that. Sweetie. icon_wink.gif

I list Hong Kong as my second location. I've never said that was my background whatever that means. Further, it's your own assumption that I offshore US jobs to China which on whole I don't. You may very well be the only one who "remembers" that - given that I assume other people know how to read.

By your logic your background is trash. Isn't that where white people like you come from sweetie? icon_wink.gif

Also, if you bothered to actually read the article or the paragraph that I cited, you'd notice that crazy was used out of awe that the US army was substantially ahead of most others including providing the basis of what we know today - where there is a lot of research and interest in the subject of caffeine use.
