    I do have a problem with the way teachers tenure works in California but I'm not interested in supporting privatizing public education either. Teachers tenure should not protect bad teachers.

    Teacher tenure is a ridiculous notion.
    Too many kids know more than the teachers do.
    We need more vouchers and charter schools.

    Too many kids get bored (then get labeled with some fake ADHD diagnosis) when they aren't challenged because the school stuck a bunch of kids with sub-90 IQs in the same class as 110+ kids (in the name of political correctness) -- you can't both challenge the 110+ IQ kid and meet the needs of the 90 IQ one at the same time in the same room.
