    I just recently got over the flu and lost about 10 pounds... The good thing about it is, I have become more cut in my mid-section/ab(s) area. The bad news is that I have become really skinny compared to my normal muscular appeal. I went to the gym the other day and I could still lift my normal weight(s). They question is... Will I ever truly recover and get back to my normal frame? AND will I have to puch it hard to get there?

    Without going into a crash course in muscle cell biology (and I actually started to type just that), I think it would suffice to say that the loss of muscle bulk is the result of protein breakdown (not the loss of the number of muscle cells). It should be far easier for you to regain what you recently lost (since your cells had been recently primed to maintain that bulk) much more easily than it would be for someone else to attain it if he never had that bulk in the first place. However, the longer you wait...

    We've all been there
    Your body will come back and because you have been working out before your body will respond that much faster
    ...so look on the brightside and look at this as a reset in your workout schedule
    be careful...you're probably going to see a reduction in strength for a while but don't let that throw you
    keep at it....
