Ever feel rejected, due to not being as physically fit as a guy you're trying to talk to, do you feel like you need to be more physically fit to get their attention and impress them?

To answer the question though of course I'm insecure. The guy I thought I was in a relationship with for 6 months told me in no uncertain terms we were not together and it was just sex. He would never even consider a relationship because didn't find me sexually attractive or any good in bed. As much as I want someone it'll take me a while yet before I trust anyone enough for any funny business!

Neon shouldn't have any reason to be insecure though!!

I think most of us struggle with varying degrees of self-image issues. I still have moments of seeing myself as the skinny kid I used to be.

No, I'm Latino. So when the tan fades I just become semi-dark. No wrinkles for me....

Actually take that back, I have noticed some around my eyes....icon_eek.gif

Do you use under eye cream? That should help smooth out the lines under your eyes. You just have to dab it on a few times a day. icon_smile.gif

Thanks for getting it back on topic sorta lol. That sounds like an awful situation I'm sorry that happened to you, the reason I posted this is because I just feel like guys who are really muscular only talk to guys who are really muscular sometimes. At least in most cases, personally I'm struggling putting on muscle, but I am trying many of the guys I'm attracted to I feel like don't give me a chance.

Thanks for the compliment though man I appreciate it..

If they're shallow then maybe cast your net wider and find someone who like you aspires to build up muscle. Likely if you do it together you won't be as narcissistic as the guys you feel are snubbing you and not giving you a chance now.

I've been thinking about that. Which one should I use????

There are a lot of good brands, and you'll definitely want the real deal. Don't cheap out and use body lotion, lol. Sephora has a men's line with good under eye cream. I think it's about $30. Lately, I've been using Burt's Bees, because it's relatively inexpensive (under $20) and it seems to work well. It contains royal jelly, which is the substance that gives queen bees their longevity.

I've noticed that I can go through a lot of it, especially in the dry weather, or when I'm tired. My skin can absorb more than it used to when I first started using it, as though it's gotten more acclimated to the cream, which seems to be beneficial! I apply it generously and often. And whenever my eyes itch, I dab on the eye cream; I never, EVER rub my eyes, because that causes wrinkles and dark circles.

BTW, avoid retinol if you spend any amount of time in the sun. It ends up having the reverse effect if you're not careful with it!!

I always enjoy hearing HottJoe talk about skin care. Retinol can be used at night, but HottJoe is right. If using Retin-A (prescription) you should avoid the sun. I like Retin-A but, but at times my skin looks dry or red from -- which stinks.

I think a little sun can be healthy, but regardless of race the sun breaks down collagen and isn't the greatest. Don't get me wrong, in my opinion, nothing looks nicer than golden bronzed skin. The fake stuff (even in spray booths) is a pain and it doesn't always look natural.
