This is a touchy subject, but I want to talk about it anyway. In my Life time I have met a lot of men and women that are more gay then anything! and they act straight even when people know they are gay, it's like just come out its the 21st century it's ok to be gay now. Let me tell you the hardest part is to say "I'm Gay" then it's over with, I should know I find it very sly when people have opposite sex partners and then they are going and sleeping with the same sex just to try and deal with it NO! I know people that has happened to and it's very selfish to do that to someone, there's no excuse to cheat even if you are scared of coming out. My brother spat at me when I told him I like men and my mother didn't really talk to me for a few weeks as for my father lets not go there! and of course some friends just stopped talking to me. People need to tuff it out life's not rainbows and butterflies its shit most of the time. Their is only so many times you can lie to yourself about your sexuality.

When you mature you'll realize that being gay is one of a multitude of things that make you..YOU..Some gay guys feel it's their duty to act out their "gayness". "Act" is the key word..They're playing a part in their contrived, pin head brains. These are the same guys who get jaded because no one knows the " real them" So you're gay...so what else you got?

Gays that act like they're straight? I don't get it and I don't get why there's an expectation for a gay guy to act gay (whatever that means).

Of the very few gay guys I know the ones who are part of the scene have been far more judgemental of me than most straight people purely because I have straight friends. Apparently I'm playing at being straight because I didn't ditch my friends the moment I came out!?

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that just because you're gay it doesn't mean your life should revolve around being gay. If a guy doesn't conform to the gay stereotype it doesn't mean he's necessarily a closet case he may just be avoiding the clich├ęd elements of the whole gay scene.

Also some guys stay secretive for career reasons. You're far less likely to make it to board level of large organisation if you're gay, if you're in the film industry you are far less likely to play the staring role in Hollywood if you're gay, gay politicians still fear that they'll lose votes being openly gay and certain sports have an element of homophobia about them.

This is partly due to gay guys playing up to the stereotype which in part makes people doubt the abilities of gay guys in leadership roles.

When Tim Cook came out as gay, the Russians took down his monument.
