    sell it?
at one point i was very interested in this car. last couple of years it sat in the garage. Fairly fast, its the 2001 ap1 version so a 9K redline. Its been super reliable but definitely not functional in heavy rain or lite snow but Denver is a dry climate. I just sold my bike.

    We have three other cars:
99 Tacoma xCab V6 (uses gas)
92 civic-vx (i need to update the clutch)
03 Kia Spectra (husband's grocery getter).

    -is the s2000 too gay?
-husband and i are getting older. He likes it a lot but I cold pass on it.
-car does what its told, 300hp, till the rear breaks out, might be outside the husband's driving expectations.
-most parts unique to the s2000 but might have theft issues
-The car handles nice, i put some effort in the suspension, other wise oem.
-it had some the track and autocross time so tiny damage to the front.

anyways for the car peeps enjoy, hope all these images are of the ap1 verson:

I don't know anything about cars. First I'd sell the older ones just because they're older.

It's a nice car. It doesn't have the same "gay" reputation as the Miata. It's perceived more as an enthusiast car. Surprised no one stole your seats. I heard they bolt directly on a Civic and Integra.

If it's in good condition and not overly modded, I'm sure you can easily find a buyer looking for a weekend/summer car.

i forgot the seats. For the summer i usually keep the top down too.

i just sold my motorcycle so the bail light is on. I could do it, sell it.

I like Honda too. But nothing interesting from them in years. Thought about getting an Insight for commuting. Or maybe an EP Civic Si. But those are getting hard to find.

I'm sure it doesn't compare with the s2000 but late last year I got the Honda Accord Touring. It's a v6 so it's rather zippy, for me at least. My previous car was a big lumbering GMC full size pickup; I always had to slow down when on any curvy roads. I'm still rather mesmerized by all of the electronic gadgetry in the new Honda.

^ Yeah. I think the current Accord is the best one so far. Honda nailed it with the styling. And their engines get better and better.

There's some eco thing in the engine where it stops feeding 3 of the cylinders when it doesn't need that power. I would think it would be 2 instead of 3 since then it would have 4 firing and they'd be balanced. That's what the kid driving the shuttle car told me when I took it in to the dealer recently. According to the instantaneous readout of its mpg its getting at least 30 on the highway with cruise control on.

i went on Edmond's last night, the Honda Insight CVT 2000-2005 was the only car i half way liked. sale of the both cars would not generate that much cash.

last night i took some time to started up the s2000 after a couple of years sitting in the garage. Drove it downtown on another matter. It really turned heads, people were talking about it.

Well if you want to turn heads take your truck and paint it lavender and sprinkle glitter all over it while the paint's wet. icon_twisted.gif

I've heard some mediocre feedback on CVT transmissions. If/when you make a decision maybe consider getting the manual transmission version.
