I'm kinda new to guys so when guys use the gay stare at me it just feels uncomfortable. When I like a guy I ignore him, I know makes no sense. Teach me how to use the gay stare!

I just do this and hold the facial expression. 9 times out of 10 the other guys will ask me out.

Okay, actually they just laugh and walk away.

Yeah, no offense, but I don't think Larealness is going to get the same response. icon_neutral.gif

OFC I have. No, I'm talking about the "Okay, actually they just laugh and walk away" part.

Why stare? You could just ask him an inane question instead.

Look but not stare to see if he looks back and smiles. The protocol is to smile back then he can walk to you or you to him. If he smiles without looking back, he wants you to come over.

I don't usually give guys looks. Though I give my boy friend certain looks when I want to have sex, and it immediately gives him hard on's. It's all in the art of how to seduce someone with your face, not so much your body.

p.s. I'll make my profile pic one of the looks I give sometimes icon_smile.gif

I hate the stare too. Especially when I'm at the gym. It's like, come talk to me instead of staring! Because my gaydar is kinda bad and where I'm from, if a guy stares you down, it means he wants to brawl. I would hate to beat up a potential date. icon_confused.gif

There is another type of gay stare - eye contact and a confused look with a furrowed brow. This means the guy is lusting after you but doesn't want you to know. Popular with guys you previously rejected online icon_biggrin.gif

I'm pretty oblivious to the whole staring to get someone's attention. Mostly because looks can be interpreted in many different ways and a person should just have the balls to start a conversation..

Just like yesterday I had a nice conversation with this guy who smiled at me and kinda gave me a look but through conversation I could tell that he is just a really friendly guy so there was no point in over-analyzing it.

I agree to that lol i am totally oblivious if anyone at all is looking at me in that way lol i doubt it but sometimes it is hard to make a passing hi to someone no matter what the intention is.

I know what you mean.. Then again I'm just socially awkward. It's difficult for me to say hi to someone. Sometimes you want to have a conversation with someone in public but you don't want them to get the wrong idea. icon_redface.gificon_neutral.gif
