What would be the one thing that turns you off from the hotest, sexiest, cutest guy in the world?

Personally it would be a bad attitude.

    Liars..

I don't care how hot they are. I just can't deal with it. People don't get many chances at all with me on honesty.

Hmm... I'm not sure exactly how dumb they can be, yet still be attractive. But I'm willing to experiment.

Lying is a huge turn-off for me. Lying in any fashion - including the various forms of posing and changing who you are from crowd to crowd. Even white lies get me - it's a real "tell" in terms of how comfortable people truly are with each other when they can be honest about the little things.

Smoking. I see one particularly hot guy out and about every couple years. We flirt, he gives me his card, he leans in for the goodbye hug -- and it's ashtray, ashtray, ashtray.

    The short list:

    1. Stuck up (i.e., my shit don't stink and if you don't drive as nice a car as me, make as much money as me, have a nice home like me...then go away)

    2. Smoking (I'm with squarejaw on that one, ick!)

    3. Liars (though I may be a little less literal about TOTAL honesty than some of you guys)

    4. Laziness (lack of ambition to make something of their life and expecting you to be the sole provider)

    5. Judgemental

    6. Substance abuse

    Stupidity.

Laziness bugs me, too. My biggest pet peeve of all has to be getting stuck in a car with someone who drives around looking for a parking spot close to the door.

Physically, I'm repulsed by teeth that aren't clean.

If he can't laugh at himself. I like to push on his insecurities (playfully!) and if he can't push back, or worse, if he gets offended, that turns me off. On the other hand, those who can play that game and throw it right back at me are really fucking hot.

The problem with being turned off by stupidity is that even more men are turned off by brains.

In order to lead a happy and healthy life, with plenty of robust sex, I think it's important to cultivate a really really stupid appearance.

    Short list:

    Liars
    Players
    Abusers (physical and/or substance)
    Control freaks
    Bad breath/body odor
    Arrogance
    Posers
    Stupidity
    Prejudice
    Rudeness
Overly "macho" or overly "fem" (just be a regular guy already)
    Moochers (get a job)
    Whiners (get a clue)

The list goes on... but I'll save the others for another time...

Fortunately, I've got that covered. However, I've been advised not to talk on a date, but concentrate on displaying the bulge. (?)

I'm with, mindgarden, chewey, and OW: stupidity. So of course brains, and the ability to use them are a turn on, and that added with a little culture and class, well, deadly. Also I need spontaneity, someone who goes with the flow and doesn't have to have everything planned.

I agree with Rune: if a guy can't take a joke (and I'm not that much of a joker) I can't do it. In the same vein, someone who's able to laugh when having sex. Not laugh because of the sex, but if something funny happens, it should be laughed at. My thoughts, anyway.

I'd go with attitude as the ultimate turnoff.

The "stupidity" thing seems to pop up a lot, which surprises me. I'm presuming those of you in the "stupidity" camp mean someone who is profoundly dumb, not just uneducated (not the same thing at all) or a tad slow on the uptake.

I've known some very special guys - hot, even, who weren't the brightest bulbs on the block, but had loving natures, generous spirits, and all of the usual phyical appeals. I'm glad they've crossed my path.

OWIn order to lead a happy and healthy life, with plenty of robust sex, I think it's important to cultivate a really really stupid appearance.

On friday I went to Burkhart's to check out the gay scene and see if I can break out of my little shell, and most guys there didn't seem to even get to the point of asking me anything that would lead them to believe I was intelligent. It went more like:

Guy: *looks at Rune a few times without saying anything*
Rune: *Thinks: Hmm he seems interested. I wonder what would happen if I said hi.*
Rune: *Thinks: No, I can't! I dunno what to do after that!*
Rune: *Thinks: Fuck it, I'll say it and maybe things will take care of themselves!*
Rune: *Nervously* "Hey I'm _________. You're kinda cute."
    Guy: "You're really cute too"
    *2 second pause*
    *start making out*

So no one seemed concerend to find out my level of intelligence in there before wanting the robust sex (which I didn't let happen btw, I'm a good little boy, I was just testing the waters :) ). I think as long as you don't bring it up you're safe!

On a sidenote OW, you missed me practicing making out (yep, 23 and yesterday was the first time I kissed a dude.. and the second, and the third :P). I wonder if people are turned off or find it hot if I dunno what I'm doing ? What a shame you weren't there to show me the ropes ;)
