“Just ponder that one for a few seconds. Yee has tried to disarm Americans. Behind the scenes he claims that he is arming rebel groups in the Philippines. Which rebel groups? These rebel groups.”

The biggest reason this former liberal considers myself an apolotical independent is that I've spent so many years of seeing the liberal Democrats fellate soooo much radical Islam cock (people who overwhelmingly WANT US GAYS DEAD!), I'm just finished with what I've seen the liberal-left degenerate into. And their self-hating Westerner angst also makes them look like self-reighteous brats. They'll feed gays to their muslim whoremasters just as much as conservatives feed gays to their homophobic Christian whoremasters (whose homophobia is slightly less murderous than Pisslam). That's why neither side of the political aisle is worth the wind farting out of a duck's asshole. So fuck every politically partisan human being with every quantum of my soul.

Meanwhile, the NRA is still strongly in favor of gun possession and ownership by those on the terror watch list. icon_rolleyes.gif

And as far as Leland, what a dumbass.

Then there’s state Sen. Leland Yee of San Francisco. He used to go on Piers Morgan’s now-canceled CNN moonbat-fest and denounce the Second Amendment. He sent out tweets on the first anniversary of the Newtown massacre saying, “I’m still shocked & prepared to take steps to stop gun violence.”

Well, up to a point …

He, too, was arrested on Wednesday, for allegedly arranging deals to procure M16s and rocket launchers to be smuggled into California after being purchased from Muslim terrorists in the Philippines. Sen. Yee was working with a Chinese gangster named “Shrimp Boy.”

Apparently, Yee was much less concerned about the spread of weapons of mass destruction when he was talking to his fellow hoods than when he was pontificating on CNN: “People want to get whatever they want to get. Do I care? No, I don’t care. People need certain things.”
    Like, rocket launchers.

Two-gun Yee is the third Democrat state senator to be arrested in California this week. Earlier it was state Sen. Rod Wright (perjury) and then Ron Calderon (bribery).
What a crime wave, in less than one week. So guess what most of the networks led with on their newscasts last night? The 5-month-old story of Gov. Chris Christie’s Bridgegate. Because it has one thing going for it that none of these other stories had, the only thing that matters to the corrupt American media.

    Christie is a Republican.

It's even better. One of Leland Yee's partners in crime was Chinatown organized crime boss "Shrimp Boy" Chow. You'd think this was Boss Tweed days in New York, or Chicago politics - The big boys in San Francisco Democratic politics (Assemblyman Ammiano, Mayor Lee, Lieutenant Governor Newsome, Senator Feinstein) were falling over themselves in the race to grant awards and honors to this convicted hoodlum - thinking that would get them more Chinese votes. This is the guy who got his position by killing off the former boss, so the FBI suspected. But, yeah, I guess he would only be a minor gangster by New York standards.

AND this guy is the Grand Theft Auto guy who wanted violent games to be banned haha:
    http://monsterhunternation.com/2014/03/28/leland-yee-super-villain/

So, regular Californians can’t own an AR-15, but Chinese drug lords, no problemo. Law abiding citizen protected by the 2nd Amendment, go to hell. Murderous scumbag criminals, good to hook. This plan seems to work for Eric Holder too.

The other part that makes this funny as hell is that he is also the anti violent video game guy… Yee is the crusading liberal who has been out there trying to get violent video games banned. Because won’t somebody think of the children!
Let that sink in for a delicious moment.

Grand Theft Auto? Hell, he doesn’t need to play it. Leland Yee LIVES Grand Theft Auto. If only he hadn’t been exposed to Call of Duty, then he wouldn’t have been so tempted to smuggle machineguns to MILF. And yes. The rebels were actually called MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front) So when you hear that a Green Beret bagged a MILF, it really could go either way.

    Amazing.

    http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702303325204579467492594430268

A child psychologist, he backed a law “to ban the sale of violent videogames to minors,” which the Supreme Court struck down by a 7-2 vote in the 2011 case Brown v. Entertainment Merchants Association . The most interesting aspect of that case was the two very different dissents: Justice Clarence Thomas would have upheld the law on the ground that the First Amendment was never meant to apply to children, while Justice Stephen Breyer argued that it was constitutional because it was based on sound social science.

But on one topic he held to the standard liberal line. “He was involved in efforts to regulate guns, particularly after the 2012 mass murder of children at a Connecticut elementary school, a tragedy that Yee said touched him,” the Times notes. National Review’s Tim Cavanaugh elaborates, noting that his arrest in the alleged gun-running conspiracy comes “less than a year after [he was] pushing wide-ranging bills to require micro-stamping, restrict magazine choice, and regulate private handling of legally owned weapons.”

By contrast, the Times reports that in dealing with his alleged co-conspirators, “the senator’s approach to arms dealing was ‘agnostic,’ the 137-page [affidavit] says. ‘People want to get whatever they want to get. Do I care? No, I don’t care,’ Yee allegedly said. ‘People need certain things.’ ”

One marvels at the evident hypocrisy. Was Yee’s zeal for gun control an expression of a guilty conscience–a moralist’s battle with his own inner demons? Or was he consistent in doing whatever seemed expedient? Perhaps that enigma will be unraveled as the case proceeds.

It sounds like something out of a Hollywood thriller: Anti-terrorist politician actually running guns to terrorists. But that's precisely what's been charged in California, although with a final plot twist that Hollywood would never imagine.

California State senator (and, until last week, candidate for secretary of state) Leland Yee was well-known as an anti-gun activist. Then, last week, he was indicted for, yes, conspiring to smuggle guns and rocket launchers between mobsters and terrorists in exchange for massive bribes. Some highlights, as excerpted by San Francisco Magazine.

Yee told an FBI agent that, in exchange for $2 million in cash, he'd fill a shopping list of weapons, which he took personal responsibility for delivering, according to the indictment. He also allegedly "masterminded" a complex scheme bring illegal weapons into the country, agreeing to "facilitate" a meeting with an illegal arms dealer to arrange for the weapons to be imported via Newark, N.J. In arranging all of this, the indictment said, Yee relied on connections with Filipino terrorist groups who could supply "heavy" weapons, including the Muslim terrorists of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front. Yee allegedly noted that the Muslim terrorists had no reservations about kidnapping, extortion and murder.

This all sounds like news. You've got charges of huge bribes, rampant hypocrisy, illegal weapons and even a connection with foreign terrorists — and from a leading politician in an important state.

But — and here's the part Hollywood would miss — outside of local media like San Francisco magazine, the coverage was surprisingly muted. The New York Times buried the story as a one-paragraph Associated Press report on page A21, with the bland dog-bites-man headline, "California: State Senator Accused of Corruption." This even though Yee was suspended, along with two others, from the California state senate in light of the indictment.

Heh good question... leave it to the media to make themselves look less credible than they already are... almost worse than Republicans!

Scott Shackford: Why Is California State Senator Leland Yee Not Yet A Household Name?

    http://reason.com/blog/2014/04/01/why-is-calif-state-sen-leland-yee-not-ye

The downfall of Calif. State Sen. Leland Yee of San Francisco should be an utterly captivating, fascinating story, and the national media should be sinking its teeth into the details. I joked when Yee was first arrested about how he is destined to be parodied in Grand Theft Auto. That was before the FBI’s report was even released. Now, I’m convinced the report could be the outline for an entire Grand Theft Auto installment (have they set a game in a parody of San Francisco yet?). Yee’s story of corruption, attempted gun-running and accusations of vote-selling (an undercover FBI agent posing as a medical marijuana clinic owner wanted him to support legislation introducing new barriers to entry for potential competition) is actually just a small part of a larger story about the crime scene in San Francisco. Beyond Lee’s role, the whole story (pdf) is full of drug transactions, stolen booze fencing, a home invasion by apparently Mexican gangsters, what appears to be counterfeit credit cards supplied by a Russian hacker, and more. It has everything. There’s even a money-laundering scene that takes place inside a massage parlor. It’s part FBI report, part Hollywood pitch.

And yet, it has not captured as much national media attention as one might think. Not long after the story came out, every Republican I follow on Twitter was noting how stories about Yee’s arrest were burying the fact that he’s a Democrat. I’m not particularly interested in an argument over which party is more corrupt. In the Corruption Olympics, each party is full of stellar athletes whose gold medals were paid for by taxpayers, manufactured by a company with cozy ties to both parties, and cost 300 percent more than they would in the private market. Nevertheless, given the media coverage of every time a conservative Republican politician on the state level says something dumb or controversial, it is worth noting.

    Heh. Beyond parody. Truly.

CA DEM ASKS OBAMA TO END IMPORT OF 'ASSAULT WEAPONS' IN WAKE OF YEE'S ARREST
    http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-California/2014/04/07/CA-Dem-Asks-Obama-To-End-Import-Of-Assault-Weapons-In-Wake-Of-Yee-s-Arrest

Yee was indicted last month after trying to help undercover FBI agents obtain "$500,000 to $2.5 million" worth of weapons--"including shoulder fired automatic weapons and missiles...from a Muslim separatist group in the Philippines."

Because Yee was caught trying to facilitate the purchase and import of missiles from Muslim separatists, Rep. Speier believes Obama should stop importation of AK-47s for law-abiding citizens.

What would he have done as Secretary of State for California?

    ----------

California Senate: Inside the Corrupt Reality of Government
Legislators in the Golden State make Breaking Bad seem mild by comparison.

    http://reason.com/archives/2014/04/06/california-senate-inside-the-corrupt-rea

The only mild complaint against the critically acclaimed TV series Breaking Bad is that the premise is a stretch. It’s hard to imagine a straight-laced high-school chemistry teacher, after being diagnosed with lung cancer and struggling with money problems, becoming a kingpin in the crystal-meth underworld.

The 137-page affidavit in the federal corruption case just unveiled against a California senator makes clear that the show doesn’t stack up against reality. TV’s Walter White quickly became believable in his drug-dealing role, but who could ever imagine Sen. Leland Yee, the mild-mannered San Francisco Democrat, as an international arms dealer with links to mobsters?

In the FBI document, Yee is described having conversations with an undercover agent about providing large stockpiles of firepower: “(The agent) asked Senator Yee for his commitment. … Senator Yee asked (the agent) if he wanted ‘automatic weapons’ as opposed to semi-automatic weapons.” Yee allegedly said that he didn’t care about people getting guns because “People want to get whatever they want to get.”

In addition to being charged with a conspiracy to traffic firearms, Yee was charged with trading official favors—e.g., promising a Senate proclamation praising a Chinatown fraternal organization whose leader has a long rap sheet, and offering meetings with legislators for a medical-marijuana business—for campaign cash. Yee was running to be California secretary of state, but mercifully withdrew from the race on Thursday.

Democrats in California hoping this story disappears down memory lane:

    http://www.sfexaminer.com/sanfrancisco/california-senate-erases-websites-of-3-lawmakers-including-leland-yee/Content?oid=2757792
The Senate removed pictures, video clips and legislative archives over the weekend involving Democratic Sens. Rod Wright of Los Angeles, Ron Calderon of Montebello and Leland Yee of San Francisco. . . . The three continue to receive their $95,291 annual salaries but are not collecting a daily expense allowance. Lawmakers have been trying to distance themselves from the three suspended senators, and several have proposed legislation aiming to restore public trust in government by untangling the web of money and politics.
