Seriously, it's normal and natural to me. I considered the possible causes, and came to the conclusion that I don't care.
Plus, I don't feel like justifying myself to anyone about it because it's not a political or artistic opinion or something of the sort.
So, is anyone interested in knowing the cause?

It really doesn't matter the "cause." Even if a person did choose to be gay, that should be his right. Period.

It's epigenetic. Changes that occur while in the womb.

On the one hand I have an interest in knowing answers to lots of things. On the other, I know that homophobes with an anti-gay agenda will look for causes for being gay that can be altered. Perhaps genetic, I dunno. But they hate us so much they will try to alter Nature in order to eradicate us. Therefore a cause will provide them a method for elimination. Just like they do with the misconception that gay is a "choice".

I think it's completely random. If there was any kind of pattern to it mankind would have discovered it by now.

    Exactly.

I like this woman, she makes a good point. Most people have more important things to worry about than what turns on a particular individual.

MisfitToy saidI'm only interested in the cause so they can stop saying its a choice but at the same time I feel as if no one tries to uncover the reason for me being black so why do it for me being gay?
We already know the reason why people are black.

Wait, yeah, its a choice, right? icon_cool.gif

What causes people to be straight? Are they just afraid to face who they really are?

It is a matter of choice. The only reason there is scientists trying to disprove it is because they are liberal and with liberal intentions... Their undeserving compassion for the gay community.

I don't buy into the nonsense. I chose everything I have done in life. Freedom of choice. Only the gay whiners want something more out of politics. It's disgusting. It is revengeful. It is all done out of spite and they will even insult the scientific community to get their way in this world. It will not work. Science is way more impersonal than politics. The proof will never become mainstream science.

Meh, I'm not even going to bother. icon_rolleyes.gif

Folks, before replying to what Sustenance is saying here, remember that he is the person behind those preachy Reaper videos from a couple years ago. He basically wants the world to be purged in some sort of weird religious reckoning.

Homosexuality is normal. The same way being left handed is normal. It's also funny if you're left handed, your parents always teach you to use your right when you can't. You're always gonna be left handed.

I always chalk up homosexuality to being pretty. All gay men are super models, or underwear models, or Jcrew models or some sort of model. The average straight man is generally an overweight pig person with insecurity and a tiny penis.
So if you are super handsome, of course you would make the choice to be a homo. Heck, I'm pretty sure straight men would choose to be gay too if they would not be shunned for being so average.
