So, I want to start going to the gym first thing in the morning. So am I suppose to eat beforehand going to the gym, cause I feel weak on empty stomach. Or the body gets used to it. What do you guys recommend? does anyone do this?

Depends on how much time you have and what you plan to do.
Me, I have plenty of time and only add a protein bar to eat on the way, nearly an hour after my cut oats or spinach omelet, having sent Punkin off to work.

Its best to go gym on an empty stomach I find. I just have an apple afterwards.

I like coffee and a half a bowl of cereal or oatmeal.
Almost empty stomach, but not quite.

Breakfast is an important meal. I'd recommend fueling your body for that workout. A mix of carbs and protein. Fruit, eggs, a bagel, high fiber cereal, yogurt....any of those would work.

I go on an empty stomach most of the time. If not i drink a protein shake mixed with fruits beforehand. I use the Muclepharm protein, and mix it with berries, grapes, peaches etc. Tastes delicious icon_smile.gif

Eat a piece of fruit about 15-20 mins before work out or at least have some water.

I'm used to going to the gym in evenings cause early morning definitely doesn't work for me. I felt horrible the few time I've done it cause I've got class at 9 or 10 in the morning

Is anyone's gym packed in the morning? I usually have work around 8. So i go there around 5:45 or 6 in the morning. I kind of like it better when it's quiet and not so packed. Plus you can get in, and get out quicker.

I guess it depends on you goals..I eat like 6 eggs and oats before then a protein shake ..then hit gym in about 45 mins. Followed by another protein shake omw home..then another meal 2 chicken breasts, broccoli and a sweet potato
