i downloaded The Sound of Music and just cried and cried for the life I have not lived ,for not seeing Salzburg for not being born aristocrat in europe, for not loving the outdoors, for not having common sense, for never turning 17.Just felt sorry for myself like a true fool.I had a great supportive loving family piano and violin lessons .Had it all but life changed.I cried because beautiful music is always a part of my life but completely foreign to most Americans and a commercial culture that wants to wipe the world free of the power of art from Mapplethorpe and Cy Twombly to Pendereski and Ligeti!Oh.Oh,oh,oh,oh,oh,oh pour me another drink!

wow just saw Michelle williams, seth R?ogen and Sarah silverman in Take this Waltz what a deeply emotional, philosophic film.Few of us have the courage to do what she does .Sad thing is she still ain't happy. The most lifelike american film of the year ain't wolf of wallstreet or american Hustle or blue Jasmine. They are all 10's but the charm and truth of this film is unforgettable. They played Video killed the radio star in this movie twice.I hated that song when i was young cuz it wasnt serious. Now ,I think its super-does exactly what its supposed to do and it made me cry alittle.I definitely dont miss my 20's but I miss the promise.Amazing how life turns out.I loved the music from the 80's
