I was just getting to the gym the other day and walked to my normal spot and this guy was changing from finishing his workout...his body odor was so bad I almost threw up!!!!! He walked away but the smell was so bad it lingered and of course another guy walked up and probably thought it was me!!! Ugh!!

Another case, I used to mess around with a guy and he wouldnt wear deoderant, smelled so bad!! but the sex was awesome, haha I finally asked him one time what is the deal??? He said it was more masculine and sexy, I said the hell it is....made me wanna puke!!!

    Ever run into this???

I'm very scent-oriented in general, so I tend to enjoy the body odor of certain guys.

I can tell it's a pheromone thing because I absolutely love the body odor of guys I'm desperately attracted to. But I HATE the body odor of guys I'm not attracted to.

I'm betting he couldn't tell and what he could smell, he liked... guys tend to like there own smells icon_razz.gif

I've been in parts of the gym and someones been in there before me and the BO was so bad you could taste it, it was drivingeveryone out of the room!!!

but alas, it is a gym, I get a little smelly my self, I don't think its terrible just a little on the nose and its very musky but then I don't mind my own smell, at least a little bit, but I shower the second I get home.

I really don't get the BO fetish. I just don't see how it makes a guy more masculine. To each his own I guess. I just get annoyed when these guys don't wipe down the gym equipment after they're done using it. Cuz that funk rubs off on your clothes and it stays with you during the rest of your workout.

I used to go to a gym where one guy always smelled so bad you could smell him from halfway across the training floor. He worked out in heavy sweatshirts and -pants.

Talking to a guy who worked at the gym, I was told that they'd spoken to him. The problem was that not only did he never wash his workout clothes, but he also kept them in his bag between workouts. Their talking to him had done no good.

I wonder if he still trains there and still hasn't washed his clothes.

There's a difference between natural man scent and stinking pit rash. And different smells affect us differently - it may be we unconsciously notice the hot smell and that makes the man attractive to us. Have you ever had the experience where you find a guy unbearably sexy close up - but you wouldn't glance twice at a photo of him? Manscent, baby!

That being said I had a hunky FB that I had to dial down to movies only because I just couldn't stand his natural aroma. I'd be almost gagging but so frustrated cos he was otherwise hot. Sex is a cruel and devious mistress.

If a guy showers everyday this should def. NOT happen. Maybe they have a hormone problem!! That(swamp butt) and bad breath I won't tolerate.icon_exclaim.gif

Fresh sweat...sexxy as hell! Stale sweat, the kind that's dried, resweated, dried again, repeat any number of times, makes me gag! Personally I'm kinda paranoid about ME smelling bad, not for any particular reason, just a little hypersensitive I guess, so I make it a point NOT to ever smell bad. That means showers, deodorant, brushing teeth...you know, all the normal hygene stuff.

Having said that, I was at the gym once and I noticed a gawdawful smell. I couldn't track it down, until finally I noticed it was coming from my gloves! I was mortified. I always wash my gym stuff after I get home from working out but I had forgotten to do the gloves! Now I try to be a little more understanding. But I still stay upwind of some guys at the gym...

I still remember the first day of college, walking down the stairs into the hundred-year old locker room for 0600 swim class. Good grief... a century of concentrated funk, oozing out of the woodwork. The worst single inhalation of my life!

Later, I had an office-mate who kept his gym clothes in his desk drawer and never washed them. The stench probably got him at least four points in every raquetball match, because the rest of us were gagging. One day, some free samples arrived in the mail, of some concentrated orange-scented industrial-strength cleaner. Two or three of us independently dumped the samples into that guy's gym bag. For the rest of the winter, we gagged on oranges, while playing him.

Ok, so today I took the bus for the first time in ages (and definitely THE last). Half way through my ride, this guy got on. His B.O. was so nasty I got off the bus 2 stops early! icon_eek.gif
How could he be so oblivious to it? I just don't get it. He was all dressed to go to work too. I feel bad for his coworkers!

No excuse for a guy smelling badly - - - - I mean, who doesn't have a bar of soap? I like to be fresh for my men - at either end!

I tend to think of body odor as a real turn off. The guy is either clueless or
has chosen to ignore basic cleanliness. Either would make me wonder.
    Ick.

I find body odor a real turn-off, and I find wearing a ton of cologne nearly as bad. What's wrong with just smelling clean? You're not a flower, you're not a sprig of mint, or a bag of sandalwood, YOU'RE A DUDE, and hopefully a CLEAN one. So smell like that and I'll be happy.

I met a guy one time and thought he smelled nice, so I told him. He told me he showers but that's it. He also was a vegan and did the whole raw food thing.

There are times that I've passed a guy noticing that he has a certain man scent to him and I'll be the first to admit that I like it. On the other hand, I've passed men who I know who NEVER wear deodorant, go to the gym, shower, and still rank of some horrid smell. You know, the kind of smell that singes your nose hairs and makes your eyes water!!
