What makes you different from the rest of the mainstream gay community (gay pride, gay rights, men acting like girls, fashion etc.)? and real jock?

Me: gaymer?...circus related activities, pro wrestling and other forms of stage combat.-I guess these are diff. from pop. gay culture and rj icon_confused.gif

I'm a gaymer. Besides that I think is the fact that I'm not interested in validation or the pity of other guys. If a guy doesn't like, he doesn't. Period. I also hate musicals and love horror movies.

EDIT: All of my friends are str8 icon_lol.gif

    I'm a Gaymer too.
(So far, Pandora's Tower is boring me. I hope my Xenoblade comes soon.)
I also don't know any gay people at all at this point in my life.
(Except for maybe the 18-year-old at my gym who I think is gay and I was all over him like a fool today. I want him so bad.)
Maybe I'm different because I don't like to dance.

I have a lot of interests that are very gay but some that are not. I have a master's degree in computer science and simply have not met anyone with the same but I am sure they are out there. I like collecting coins and when I have been to shows all I see are predominately older straight guys. Of course I like musicals, opera arias, and divas. Those interests are very gay.

owl bundyis it me or is this thread a diss to gay guys with the op basically saying "i'm better than you gay guys because ya are acting like girls, into gay pride or whatever"? op, maybe you should stop generalizing all of us and get to know folks first before jumping to conclusions.

This is not to diss gay men it's that the mainstream gay community gets recognized in media, tv, film, and even video games (Ultimate Gay Fighter) other gay people seem to not get recognized ever, and if so it's so rare to the point that were as exotic and less populous than tanzanite.

There's no such thing as a typical gay guy so I'm not a typical gay person nor am I a complete one off.

News flash: none of you guys above are any better or any different to the rest of the world (gay or straight) because he world is a diverse place.

I think OP is confusing "mainstream" with "stereotype".

xrichxI think OP is confusing "mainstream" with "stereotype".

Whats usually in the mainstream is stereotypes for a lot of communities especially the gay one.
