Anyone ever had this? I think it would be great! I currently work out alone and only have a partner when a gym guy wants to work out with me. But could you imagine? Using each other for support and holding each other accountable for diet choices.. sounds awesome!

That would be totally awesome. I wish I have one. I've always been working out alone too as all my friends go to different gyms. icon_razz.gif

My ex was my workout partner, now I just workout alone as well or with my friends whenever they're able to accompany me.

It wouldn't be great if one guy was more advanced than the other because the other might push himself over his limit to keep up.

Plus in my case I prefer to go alone. If one of my friends wants to go to the same gym I find out when they're going to avoid them and I don't go to gym next door to my work place just to avoid my colleagues lol. It puts me off if I know people there.

I'd love that. I took my bf to work out with me once, and he liked it well enough it seems. It was also nice that he could spot me so I didn't have to constantly look for spotters for the heavy lifts. We have different work schedules though, so we can't work out together that often.

Ummm.......NO. I need time to myself. Too much time together will wreck a relationship fast.

Meh, my bf tags along with me sometimes but we usually just ignore one another while doing our individual workouts. He's trying to slim down with cardio while I'm bulking up with weights, totally different directions. Besides, gym time is my time to get away from it all and have some alone time. Too much time spent together makes me feel suffocated.

Its good at times, but so easy to get frustrated.
My bf has trouble pushing himself but wonders why he doesn't get great results, so when I push him he just gives up and wants to leave.
When this doesn't happen its fun and great for the relationship, when it does you have to fight the temptation to have an all embarrassing domestic in the middle of the gym.
