I just lost 15 pounds on the last month, SO im skinnier and that kinda sucks since no I look less built. I was not eating thaat much but i never eat a lot anyway. So im kinda confused, cause with all the exams I was really stressed and I was sleeping during the day and I was up all night studying, sometimes I even spent more than 34 hours in a row without taking a nap. Can this make me loose that much weight???? I went down to 160 pounds from 174

If you are not eating properly then you will lose weight, calories in energy out and all that.

Working 34 hours without sleeping is also not a productive way of working. I think stress can also affect your appetite.

Just start eating again. Your glycogen stores are depleted because you haven't been eating so you aren't carrying as much water in your muscles, making you look flat and small. I guarantee you'll put it back on in a week if you go pig out on some ice cream and drink some water.

True story: I followed flex's advice and I'm gaining...not bad weight either. Eating every three hours is kind of a pain in the ass, but it works well.

If you have lost 15 pounds in a month you might want to have a visit with your doctor. That is just a little more than can be chalked up to stress or bad exam dieting. You might be better to speak to a professional as it is better safe than sorry.

A scoop of serious mass, 8 oz of apple juice, and a 20-25g scoop of protein powder immediately after your workouts will help you pack it on better. Muscle milk doesn't give you enough calories on its own.

do you, just not care, about your taste buds? I'm really hoping you don't have that all together..

I just got some CytoSport CytoGainer cause I dropped from 160 to 151 ugh. So we'll see how that goes. MuscleMilk got me nothing but leaner and I actually lost weight on it and my body fat when through the floor. I just burn calories and have a hard time gaining. I can't eat enough regular food and I refuse to go the double cheese burger route lol

Let's take a look at musclemilk... OMG! It's only got 11g of carbs! AND 22g OF PROTEIN?!?!?! AFTER A WORKOUT?!?!?

You need at least 100g of complex carbs, 40g of simple carbs, and a MINIMUM of 40g of protein, preferably 50g, post-workout if you're gonna make your gains stick. Otherwise, you shrink.

The cytogainer's a little better, but it's still terrible. Your body can't digest more than 47-50g of protein at a pop, so you're throwing your money away when you suck down the 56g in cytogainer's four-scoop serving. There's also only 80g of carbs, which is disgustingly low for a weight gainer.

Stress - lack of sleep - and decrease in food intake can DEFINITELY
    make you lose weight
esp if you are a lean guy to begin with
until exams are over I'd cut yourself some slack
and then hit it hard again after
you did it once you can do it again

My brother once lost 14 lbs. during an exam period in university. He wanted high marks to get into Med school. At your age, with your metabolism, stress, lack of sleep and poor nutrition will definitely cause you to lose weight rapidly. I would not worry so much about the aesthetics but about what it is doing to your health. Being underweight is not healthy.

oh dear dont tell me that man, I hope it isnt that bad, I usually gain or loose weight really fast, like a couple of years ago i was 125 and I gained more than 50 pounds in 4 months by working out, I also loose around 5-7 pounds when I stop working out even if my diet is the same, but this time I lost twice as much. I was drinking a redbull to stay up all nigh and I admit I wasnt eating propperly at all and obviously working out was out of the equation, I could perfectly survive the whole day with 2 glasses of chocolate milk and a beagle with butter. Also when I was eating something else, was basically pizza and pizza and pizza.
