Are Ann Coulter and Al Sharpton Just Trolls?

I seriously think she doesn't believe half the shit she says. The parody of her on The Boondocks seems about right. I have seen some early interviews with her... she seemed to play up to the ''far right wing'' angle as time went on and added a little bit of crazy. When you got something, sell the hell out of it. And, ole girl is always plugging a book or some shit.

i really do believe she is a troll. And, half the stuff she says is shit, she knows it's shit, and she knows it will sell. I must say that crazy is a smart business woman.

Kind of the same with Al Sharpton honestly. Dude was got saying some racists stuff towards Asians in the 80's. Not to mention calling other peoples faggots and other wonderful words. And yet he jumps on the band wagon with anything related to race.

Anytime you need an arch nemesis Ann Coulter or Al Sharpton is there to debate you. I work in the sound and film making industry. And worked on CNN for a brief time doing sound. A lot of them are obviously just playing a part. From what i heard, Ann has a gay hair dresser and assistant.

What do y'all think? do you believe Ann, Al, Bill O' Reilly. Or anyone in that type of political talk show situation. Really believes in the stuff they say and sell?

Either way, it's evil. It's evil to be that horrible of a person and just as evil to make a living pretending to be evil.

Ann Coulter is a grifter. I don't know or care whether she believes anything she says, she's figured out a way to get the conservative rubes to make her rich. Con artists are an American classic story.

I think y'all are both correct. Even if she doesn't believe in this. She's really done some damage with her rather ignorant statements. I Wonder how her gay friends feel about her. Especially with her saying stuff like ''if my son was I'd say he was adopted''

No, no one should have an opinion outside a majority of the people according to a credible poll. And no one should be able to bluntly express themselves in an entertaining way. No, God Forbid.

I was waiting for a Republican to defend that talking horse head, but then I thought....no, no one here could be that insane. Looks like I've been proven wrong.

Which one is a talking horse head? Because I was defending BOTH of them, smartass. I may disagree with almost everything Al Sharpton has ever said or done(and many things Coulter has said, too), but I respect his right to say what he does. That is the difference between me and the left. I can disagree with someone without trying to dismiss, discredit or silence them.

The reason i call them is a troll is whether they believe it or not. After doing sound briefly at CNN and seeing these types of people. A lot of them are acting a role essentially. They may have views others agree or disagree with. But they only say it to sell books from a certain crowd. Almost all of these types are plugging a book, TV show, or radio show. If they only say these things for the money. Without really believing in it. I see that as trolling the masses personally.

That's just my personal view on it though.

I'd say yes, they believe what they say. It's the go-along to get-along types that I don't believe when they say something.

I see Ann Coulter more of an opportunist who has capitalized on her particular brand and taken the ball and run with it. She's more an entertainer who likes to say shocking or grating things to sell books and keep her on TV than anything else.

Al Sharpton, in my opinion, is an opportunist who will use any news event to throw in the race card and put himself front and center of that event. He's not an equal opportunity activist, he's all about whites vs blacks, and he stirs up more trouble than he solves.

That's a pretty good way to sum them up.

It wasn't fun for the falsely accused, one of whom killed himself. It wasn't fun for the people who believed them and were upset about it, and it wasn't fun for every tax payer who had to pay for the whole clusterfuck investigation. It wasn't fun at all, it was completely destructive and utterly stupid.

I agree with Todd and throw Rush Limbaugh in there with Ann too. The sad thing is that a lot of people take these entertainers as news sources of the gospel truth.

As for Sharpton and the rest of his ilk, Todd is spot on.
