    Good: Culture, outdoor activities, weather.
Bad: Transplants that perpetuate the LA stereotype.
Ugly: Traffic. Oh, the fuckin traffic.

Good: The People's Republic of Berkeley.

Bad: The reason it's called the People's Republic of Berkeley.

G: The economy, jobs, beautiful in the summer, not crowded in the eastern part where I live.
B: The politics, housing is getting tight even in the eastern cities.
Ugly: The winter that we've had. Seriously, WTF--20" of snow in one day this past week.

    Kansas City, MO ...

Good-- BBQ, fountains, jazz music, tailgating, strip steaks, The Plaza, Crown Center, gyms available at anyone's disposal...

Bad-- #1 Worst American City for Dating, too many gameplayers & H8Rs, too many queen$ with too much attitude & not enough ambition to back it up, too many fossils who think they can buy your time...

    Eugene, Oregon

G - Easy access to organic, locally grown foods, comprehensive recycling programs, tons of outdoor trails.

B - It's just too small for me. Also, homelessness. Virtually no nightlife scene, no real "gay places" to go.

    Colorado

    good
-Denver city has a mostly gay affirming population
-state gay employment nondiscrimination laws in place
    -state has civil unions
-Denver city supportive for arts & entrainment
-good access to a mountain environment, ski, hike, climb...
    -dry climate, lots sunny days
-moderate cost of living, functional employment
-functional new lite rail, bus service
-Denver city central located about a few suburbs
    -new liberal government

    bad
-Denver is still an island, hit or mostly miss outside Denver for gay affirmation
-Denver city government can be goofy at times
    -no marriage equality
    -only moderate speed internet available
-lots of guns on the street by a dementia, alzheimer older population expecting another 911
-new liberal government got over their heads with gun control
-weather can be rough once twice every 5 years
    -health care expensive
-lots of pickup trucks on the road
    -no water, less every year

Good: diversity in people, nature, lifestyle options, and things to do. Weather. Marriage equality as well as many other legal LGBT protections. Number 1 in agriculture.

Bad: traffic and (with few exceptions) is expensive to live in most of the State. Current drought
