What do you take in the shower with you at the gym? Bulky bottles of body wash and shampoo and such? A caddy?

I'm never really in the locker room long enough to see what guys take in with them. My gym has the bare minimum so we don't even have a towel service.

Anyone put lotion on after showroom in the gym? Or do you wait till you get home?

A towel, soap, bath scrubbing squishy sponge thingy to scrub off the grime.

OH and nail file, tablet, paper clips or clothes pins, my cat, yesterday's laundry, a ring, and a bedknob from the bed upstairs.

I just take bodywash with me into the shower. Sometimes, I'll have need to shave my face at the gym. When I need to do that, I come back to my locker, dry off, and get at least a pair of boxers on before I head back to the sinks and shave. In the winter, I'll put some moisturizing lotion on my feet before I put my socks on.

I'm curious as to what prompts a 26 year old that doesn't use a locker room to ask a question like this? Is it really of interest or just noise?

    LOL! I'm with you.

Usually a bar of soap, and sometimes a small travel-size bottle of shampoo. Otherwise I'll use the liquid dispenser on the wall, increasingly common in US gym showers. It may not be "my" brand, but it'll do me until me my next shower at home. I'm sure my hair won't fall out or my skin turn to leather.

    Naturally the preferred answer is:

A close friend. And there was a time I really did do that regularly. Also did HIM regularly if there was nobody else around in the shower. icon_redface.gif

Ah, sluttiness... I do miss it at times.

    - TriSwim Body Wash
    - TriSwim Body Lotion

    Swim gear:
    - speedo
    - zoomer swim fins
    - prescription goggles
    - swim cap
    - resistance swim gloves

My gym provides soap but that's it. So,

Creatine or some other pre-workout drink+ shaker cup.
    Gym clothes, of course.
Gloves, earbuds, book to record what I did, lock for the locker.
    Towel.
Q-Tips, hair paste, hair brush, moisturizer.
    Clean underwear.
Razor and gel on the weekends.
    Clean shirt on the weekend.
    Protein powder.

When I rent a gym locker (not doing that at present) I put a caddy/organizer in there. Contains everything I could possibly need, from deodorant to shaving, foot powder, toothpaste, toothbrush & mouthwash, manicure kit, the works. But I only take a bar of soap into the shower, and sometimes a small travel bottle of shampoo. As lilTanker says, I'm not going in there for a spa treatment.

My locker key, a towel, and tiny bottles of unscented shampoo and conditioner - the gym showers have spigots for shampoo and conditioner, but it's low quality, and has a terrible odor.
