Once, I happened to be taking a photo, during a bike ride, and ended up in the middle of a "creation science" geology field trip. It was a trip, all right. The instructor was trying to interpret two major structures, which differ in age by about 16 million years, in terms of "Noah's Flood." She contradicted herself about sixteen times, trying to explain away the numerous objects in plain sight that contradicted her story. Well, as long as each individual object could be explained away, the explanations didn't have to be mutually compatible. It's all done by magic, you know.
