Ah, the new years resolutions. We all hear about them this time of year.
Many people make and break them. I've had a few, some have been incorporated successfully.... some have been broken.

What one thing would you focus on to improve (maybe, however not a resolution) in the coming year?

For me, I plan to eliminate my only real vice, the drinking of soft drinks
except in an occasional social sense... and to make a final decision about
what Episcopal church I want to attend. Maybe a few organizational changes with work.

I'm going to keep focused on working out and getting back in shape with the help of my trainer.

I'm cutting back on coffee, and hopefully into the new year I'll be down to 2 cups a day.

Now that I'm all settled in and have my apartment set up, I want to start saving money and start a 401k.

My resolutions are sort of a continuation of those I've already implemented from years past..........i.e. eliminating bad investments; working smarter not just harder; more time playing - not so much time working. I want to make more time for the people in my life - and meet a couple more of the guys I've been talking to on RJ - you know who you are!

Well, I don't normally do resolutions but because 2008 sucked so bad, I'm making the resolution that in 2009 I will truly be who I am, enjoying being a gay man making new friends. I don't think it's going to be too hard for me icon_smile.gif

My goal for 2009 is to bulk up and lean out a bit more. I know what I need to do and I need to put it into practice.

I've been so focused on career in 2008, I am determined to play more in 2009 and be a bit more outgoing and social. Somewhere along the lines I lost that earlier this year. Any ideas of crazy fun things that I should put on my list?

    1. Refocus on my fitness goals - keep motivated and stick to a routine.

    2. Land myself a job that I can stay with for the next few years, regardless of the financial crisis going on in my industry.

One of them I should adopt is not to go running to a "50% off the sale price sale" at Dillards every time its announced.... like today.

I plan to break out of my anti-social shell and just live a little. Might even take a gander at trying to date.

I want to make some new friends who don't piss me off as much as the current crop.
