Would you date a guy without seeing a naked pic of him or knowing his preference in the bedroom. If so what would it be about they guy that would attract you (assuming you got a face and body pic)

Is sexual roles and all that stuff most important or could you date a guy who other wise seems perfectly suited to what you want in a potential partner

I could care less about your sexual position. I never dated a guy and knew his preference until a while of getting to know them anyway. If I like you I like you, and I'm vers anyway so... :-P

I can still remember when you couldn't have naked pics of yourself unless you had your own darkroom. Makes you wonder how anybody dated back then. We are lucky the human race didn't die out really.

I did it few times.. Including no face pics too.. Like blind date..
I had blindly dated guys I knew at school and old friends accidently.. Some I go one to have sex with them.. Some no if we aren't each others type..

Yes. I have avoided seeing naked pics of guys before meeting them as it robs the meet of a little mystery. A cute face, smile, etc sets me going anyhow.

I always make it clear what I do, roles etc and expect before getting physical. If they don't want to bottom that can be ok, but I'm not versatile. It's then up to them if they want to proceed.

I tend to find most guys in clubs guess my sexual role although the odd one or two assume they can do a switch.

it's irrelevant. If we like eachother and the chemistry is there we'll adapt to each other and make something tasty Chocolate milk analogy;)

Personality duh. But that's a must, so I don't know why you ask this as if it was a such a weird thing.
Actually all the dates Ive ever had were before seeing the person naked. You know there's life beyond Grindr.

no talk without pics. it doesn't matter how it worked last year.

if you need a sexually fulfilled relationship then yes you should ask for pics.

I need pics that give a general sense of his physique but I don't need to see him naked before we're happily tearing each other's clothes off in person. And since I'm versatile I don't need to know his preferences in advance (though ultimately I'd hope he's versatile as well.)

Well, there would have to be something pretty compelling for me to meet someone in 2014 with no pic....that's a big red flag to me!

I wouldn't need to see him naked or have sex with him to date him. It's about attraction in many ways. Looks are only one aspect of who a person is.

I definitely don't want a naked pic sent to me. Of course I want to see regular pics. I want to know who I am talking to.
As far as the position, if they are bottom well they are out of luck here, we probably would end up friends. I don't top, at all.

I don't care whether or not I see a naked picture of him, being a nudist and somewhat of an exhibitionist myself. What attracts me a assertiveness - with that in mind, it would be nice to finally bump into a guy who self-identifies as a top. I've only ended up with people like me... versatiles that mostly want to bottom. We tend to lack that yearning to initiate and be assertive, so I can't tolerate that kind of relationship long.

You are speaking generally of course. There are such things as power bottoms and service tops. Just because a guy is a top, doesn't mean he is necessarily aggressive. Just because a guy is a bottom doesn't make him submissive.

I must have missed something... since when has seeing a naked pic of or knowing someones position in the bedroom been acceptable dating conversation. I personally would never answer questions along these lines because I don't find them appropriate or important.
