Which just goes to show how highly right-wingers rate democracy. "Do it our way, or we'll take our toys and go home." And to hell with the majority, who, one suspects do OT want to do something so futile and ridiculous.

That sort of idea might fly in Texas, but Republicans are really pressing their luck in somewhere Wisconsin, which is not a far-right state.

I wish Texas would secede, the US would be better off without it and we can send all these right wing, secessionist lunatics to Texas where they no longer have to deal with us Americans anymore.

to become that big 51 state it takes federal approval, that alone would make secession unlikely.

some Northern Colorado republican counties want to form their own state. A lot of Denver city people thing this is not a bad thing. Looking at income vs expense these citizens are the users that would be great to spin off to their own fate.

It also takes approval from the state that these secessionist fools are breaking away from as well. It is too bad that the rural hinterlands of northern Colorado are too naïve to see the facts that Denver, Colorado Springs, and their surrounding metro areas support these right wing, extremist lunatics.

I doubt that they are including Fort Collins because that is a pretty large city and a university town as well which means progressive and open minded. That alone makes Fort Collins and its neighboring environs a grave threat to the extremist right wing lunacy of the rural hinterlands of northern Colorado.

I'm with you on this one.
    1. Dismantle all US military bases in Texas.
    2. Build an electrified wall around the state.
    3. Dig a moat on the US side of the wall.
    4. Stock the moat with crocodiles (not alligators, who only attack for food; crocs attack just because).
    5. Pull them off the US electrical grid.
    6. Cut off their water supplies from the Rockies.

We also need to make Texas a UN administered special reservation for all the religious right wing lunatics.

A more accurate name is Northeastern Colorado because it excludes the western counties of what is considered northern Colorado.
