In my office it is a Greenpeace calendar that I got from a sister as a birthday gift. Very beautiful pictures (January's picture is three Emperor penguins standing in front of a massive glacier/cliff in the Antarctic).

At home I have a calendar of airplane history that the Smithsonian puts out every year. My partner gave that to me as a birthday gift.

I have one that features a group of "barns" taken from all over the country.
It sounds boring, but it is actually a wonderful calendar.

Haven't had a wall calendar in years. Use a computer calendar program that syncs with my PDA.

My calendar is not actually a wall calendar at all (though when I get one it will be Grey's Anatomy or Harry Potter). I'm currently using Stephen King's 2009 desk calendar.

I've got the grange calendar - it has the birthdays and anniversaries of everyone in town printed on it. Nobody has an excuse to forget.

Also for the kitchen, I picked up this one:

I got a wall calendar from the power company, but I probably won't use it. Every year, I buy a pocket sized 'week at-a-glance' and keep it on my desk, opened to the current week. For electronic reminders, I use the alarm feature of the Gorgy Clock widget.

I rely on iCal on my laptop for most stuff, but I keep a wall calendar around to keep track of what day it is. This year mine is from Save the Children:

My job is scheduling. I keep a full year calendar in the wall, plus my monthly calendar I pick for the art.
