I will be in the Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia, visiting the cities mentioned above. It is a short trip for about 2 weeks, so I am really only at each place for 2-4 days. If you have any travel tips, places to visit, food to eat, gay scene to crash, and other fun things to do, let me know! Much appreciated!

My favorite blog related to all things Bangkok: http://bangkokbois-gay-thailand-blog.com/. As a long-term expat there, the author sees both the positive and the critical. Good resource.

I met my partner on Fridae, a Singapore based blog that covers gay issues and has members from around Asia: http://www.fridae.asia/asian-gay-blog/.

Another great resource for gay Asia is the long-running blog Utopia: http://www.utopia-asia.com/
They have reviews for hotels, clubs, etc all around Asia.

    Enjoy your trip!

Here's a good resource for gay travel in Asia:
    http://www.utopia-asia.com/

In Bangkok, I recommend eating from street vendors. Dirt cheap and delicious. While you're bound to have some kind of stomach related episode on your trip, the street vendors aren't necessarily any worse than the restaurants for inciting such things. Half an Immodium a day should keep you regular.

If you're in BKK on a Saturday, don't miss the Chatuchak weekend market. The Royal Palace, the reclining Buddha, the Jim Thompson house are all worthy sites. The bars on Silom soi 4 were fun.

In Chaing Mai, the Sunday night market walking street is memorable. Ride an elephant and take a Thai cooking class up there too.

Thanks builtnycguy, will definitely go for the streetfood. My stomach is strong lol..

And my bf and I are landing in Chiang Mai on a Sunday afternoon, so the Sunday night market will be perfect timing!
