I realise this should be posted in the strength training section but I noticed nobody posts in there. (I did post it in the participants thread anyway though)

I've not been seeing much benefit from my quite unorganised work out so I'm trying this but I just wanted to know are the cardio day exercises set in stone?

I'm wondering because I have an old injury that affects my knee and ankle which makes treadmill and cross trainer activities quite difficult particularly if I'm trying to do interval work. If I were to replace the treadmill and elliptical exercises with swimming would i still feel the benefit?

I walk for an hour 10 mins anyways just to get to the gym but I just struggle to do interval training and then walk on my ankle afterwards.

    Cheers icon_smile.gif

I'm off out to the gym and then lunch anyways so fingers crossed I get replies when I get home in a few hours.

If not I cba to start the programme until Monday anyways or I'll get the days confused. I want day 1 to be Monday, day 2 to be Tuesday etc.

    Hey guys-

This is Billy Polson. I wrote the 12 Week Program.

Swimming would be a great swap out for the cardio portions.

Feel free to message me directly if you have specific questions. I try and check this email a couple times a month.

    Best of luck!

Wow, I didn't think you were still around icon_smile.gif Nice to know you're still working away.

To the OP: One of the best trainers you'll ever meet (and super nice guy, along with his partner). Take advantage of his offer, you'll get great feedback.

    Thanks Billy!
