If you mean the Minnesota accent and general manner of speech, yes. I lived in North Dakota & Minnesota for 11 years. That accent is fading away a bit, like most accents in the US, but it still persists in the northern part of Minnesota especially. Though Minnesotans themselves deny they have such an accent, like the one also used in the movie Fargo
(I knew the movie's kidnapped wife, BTW, who was cast from the local Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre, where she also would collect admission tickets and do usher duties! My BF was on the FMCT board, and himself had a small extra role in the movie)

on after 1 AM here. I have to think it's not very popular with their audience that they choose to bury it.
