Looking at your height and weight, I think you're pretty lean already.

To get leaner, you can start a strength training exercise routine using lower weights and more reps. For cardio you can interval training. Just modify your lifestyle too, like cut down on fat, sugar, and processed foods in your diets. So many things to list here...

Stick to lean meats, eat veggies, and generally avoid carbs in things like bread. Low carb and high protein diet is amazing.

I also suggest checking out Stronglifts 5x5, and throwing some bodyweight exercises in there. It's actually very simple to reach your goals, the key is just persistence.

I don't think my body is the greatest but I've never stepped in the gym once, and I can do 5x5 pull-ups with a 40lb weight vest on me. I'm also 147lbs.

Looks like you are already getting some good input, but I was going to encourage an increase in cardio, watching how much you eat, really focus on a number of small meals and (in this season of fresh vegetables), eat more veggie's and make them fresh... take advantage of all the fresh stuff you can lay your hands on. Good, inseason, colorful fruits and veggie's.

if this is all you do you have a good chance of looking skinny fat on the top half of your body. once you burn off that fat, you will look like one of those marathon runners.

mixing yoga with weight training does miracles, you sweat, losing pounds and turning them into muscles...just not at the same day, of course. tho i've heard of guys who were doing yoga before regular workout. and yes, i saw straight guys doing yoga, too. icon_smile.gif

    Lift heavy.

    Lift hard.

    Build muscle.

Don't eat food that isn't food. No crap.

You won't have to think about fat.

I try and incorporate excercise in to my daily routines, such as taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking further away. I also walk my cat around the block... this may sound strange but she's a big red, no-shit taking cat who love to walk with me.

    All the best...

The first suggestion I concur with.

I hope your second suggestion is a joke. "Starving" and "Anorexia" are not healthy ways to get and stay lean. Men, and especially young men, are beginning to fall prey to the same unhealthy body image diseases which young women have been suffering.

Supersets AND eat a healthy diet tuned for your body type.

Decrease the amount of grain products you eat; make sure the rest is mainly (if not all) whole wheat. Increase your intake of veges and meat. That's what made a huge difference for me.
