I wouldn't have recognized Robert Gant if you hadn't mentioned him. Quite a different look from his US Queer as Folk character by which I know him best. The authentic Leave It To Beaver appearance of this production is very clever, even to the boy's striped shirt.
I'm amazed at all the effort they put into making this relatively short production look authentic. Period clothing, hair styles and women's makeup, the kitchen appliances, furniture and other set-dressing items, the 1950s film graphics, classic narrator's voice, etc.
