I still use it on one of my computers. I have to due to a custom program made with the old visual basic program that is designed to work with the old outlook version. My best friend made the program but he past away in 2005. I have taken some extra security measures to protect that computer.

Isn't IE just used to download other browsers though?

Thanks for sharing. I read that this morning on IE11 and was wondering what other choice I have if I want a touch-screen browser. Firefox withdrew its experimental touch-screen version. Chrome's Windows 8 doesn't work on my Surface (revenge of the Android king?). Using anything besides IE11 requires a stylus to move anything on the page precisely.

Any suggestions? I don't think Opera has a Windows 8 version, but I like using it on Windows XP, though.

being an ex web designer, internet explorer was always my ultimate hate. sadly just under 50% of users go through internet explorer.. but that number is going down icon_smile.gif

It is the best browser for downloading and installing other browsers.

I'm actually forced to use IE for two of my 3 jobs. I hate it.

Why do you say that? I left Safari behind years ago. Using Chrome right now.

The only time I use explorer at home is for Pornhub. It doesn't very well on the other ones. So I have had to use other sites since I heard about this.
