With Spring here, I thought it would be good to have an active camping thread for those who enjoy it.

It was actually this article about tree tents that made me think to create this thread. OMG.....two of my favorite things in one.....a tent and a hammock in one!

An even neat version of the jungle hammocks we got from surplus when I was a kid. Wish I had a couple of trees in the yard that would work as anchors.

I may actually try getting out my old camping equipment and playing in the back yard. Why not?

Love camping. For me, the best is desert camping; seeing the sunrise over the rocks and sand is incredible.

    Yeah, and no mosquitoes!

(Just scorpions and rattlesnakes, but they tend not to bother anyone.)

Tents are a huge aphrodisiac for me! Well, tents, hammocks and boats.

Awesome tent idea! I wish I had one icon_sad.gif

I'm heading out for northern Vancouver Island camping on a long weekend in May. Should be fun and can't wait!

Yeah, I'll be holding one down here in the swamps. You must provide your own tent, kayak and alligator repellent. Just kidding....that shit never works. icon_eek.gif

You you're gonna corrupt my innocent camping thread with nude pics, the least you could do is post a larger version!

Love camping. Have had my best nights of sleep in a tent. Something about the quiet, fresh air, and getting back to nature.

You've obviously never been camping. First of all, you're an animal and you were designed to shit in the woods. Secondly, most campgrounds have shower and toilet facilities but have a "primitive" section for those who prefer to rough it and yes....GASP......shit in the woods. icon_rolleyes.gif There's also this thing called bug spray, which I've rarely needed to use. The smoke from the campfire and bug-proof tents make it unneeded most of the time.
