Just a random wonder of mine, i have noticed how many people are actually on this site yet.... there are only the same people or selection of people who actually post in the forums. Any reason for this or is it that your in different forums all the time ??

    Just a general wonder icon_smile.gif

Some people are online at different times of day due to time differences so you may just miss some people's posts. Others may just have narrow interests and only post about specific topics.

One correct answer. You win. icon_biggrin.gif

Two Trollettes with nothing but 9 year old nasty remarks. Comme d'habitude for RJ.

    Yes, also correct.

There are also a massive number of men using the site to meet others outside the forums.

lol Yeah. I've noticed that too. Some dudes are here for different reasons: Find a gym buddy, hookups, participate in the forums, look at hot pics, plan RJ meetups, etc.

    I'm not sure why.
It may be that a lot of newer posters feel left out or ostracized when they try to post and end up deleting their accounts.
A lot of people don't feel welcomed to post, so it ends up being the same posters as before.

Also, I had my old account Atleast 2 years before I decided to post something. I was always just looking through the forums for advice on things (dating/ dating apps, coming out, etc.). It always seemed like there was a bunch of flame wars going on and that kept me from posting.

I definitely am one of them. I've been told more than once that I should shut up and let other people post.

I find it increasingly difficult to participate with the proliferation of angry lonely boys and their various socks.

Also, I never really log out of the site, so maybe I'm still counted as being online, even if I'm asleep or at work etc.

RJ has always had a small slice of members participate in the forums and they come and go. People join RJ for a variety of reasons.. fitness being one of them. Forum participation may be something they never notice or just aren't into.

I have a variety of interests, so I tend to post over a large part of the forum site.. some aren't that way.
