I tend to eat pretty healthy, its just avoiding sugary soft drinks that can be a little bit of a challenge.

    Bread.
Germany has so many wonderful types of bread that I can't seem to stay away. And it's so convenient to have a 'belegtes Brot' instead of cooking.

I don't eat foods that make my physically uncomfortable.

Bread reverts back to ball of dough in my stomach and feels like a rock sitting in there.

Pastas expand and make me feel bloated.

Red meats take forever to digest and give me a long term misery.

Luckily I consider bread and pasta to be the devil's food so I do not miss them. The red meat on the other hand has its pluses and minuses. But in the end I don't think it is that great for me and if I do eat it, I prefer a steak burger.

.. now real bad food would be cakes and cookies, for main reason see bread above, the secondary of course would be the sugar.

Im very finicky about food, not just healthwise but just cause i really dont like much other than fresh fruit and milk products. So generally i wont eat anything with onions or garlic in em. Also stay away from ice cream and chocolate (so difficult though) and high sugar dessertz. Oh, and no meat, fish, eggs, or anything processed. That pretty much leaves me with healthy cereals, fruits and good veggies. Always makes me a terrible guest for anyone's dinner party....

    About that red meat.

we have the occasional steak at home, but also go out to O'Charley's chain resto once in a while. They do a good job broiling steaks. Like most such places they have the giant, huge and enormous hunks of cow, but the one that suits me best is a 6 oz. sirloin. Cooked nicely, it is just enough to kill my craving. I think the key to red meat is not overindulging.

Nachos. Especially a t Moe's. They're too good but nothing but fat. I love 'em but when I'm being healthy, which is most of the time, they feel like a glob of fat in my stomach. Evil.

Fruit juice. I used to drink it all the time under the false assumption it was healthy. Now I only drink when I'm drinking vodka icon_razz.gif

Every so often I give in to the urge and go to a greasy spoon Mexican place and get a burrito made with chorizo, rice, and refried beans; hopefully the beans are refried in lard and not vegetable oil. In order to keep it healthy I decline the sour cream.
