    They are finally removing that ice boom on Lake Erie and letting the ice flow down the Niagara River. I don't think that they should tamper with nature by holding this ice back, let it flow down the Niagara.

    Up at my ranch in British Columbia the river is at a record high, after half a week of temps in the 80's. I expect my irrigation dam is gone, and neighbors say my bridge - the only way in - is in danger. Wild weather!

    And spring storms have blown part of the roofing off my guest cabin. Going to be a busy summer!
