I go to Europe every summer. This summer I'm going to Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon from Aug. 11-29. I will be going to Circuit Festival in Barcelona www.circuitfestival.net on Aug. 11-19 then to Madrid, Spain on Aug. 19-24 and then spend my birthday in Lisbon, Portugal from Aug. 24-29. Yes I'm celebrating my birthday alone icon_sad.gif.

    1) cancun for a few days, 2) back to back weddings, 3) start summer research and work, 4) continue my work out routine and *hopefully* put on some lean muscle, 5) research symposium at Cornell

I'm going to try to attend Houston Pride (never been to a pride before) and maybe I'll hit up NYC after leaving Ithaca. I'm pumped though, this is my last summer vacation before entering the work force. icon_cool.gif

    Learn to lay eggs.

Make mud pies using, of course, organic mud.

    Compost the lawn mower.

Scrub the soles of all my sneakers. Have to buy sneakers first, though.

Crochet a readable facsimile of Magna Carta using recycled grocery bags and leftover spaghetti.

Drive an antique locomotive to the grocery store.

    Have dinner with Benjamin Franklin.

In other words, be retired, broke, alone and bored.

Actually, we're keeping it really simple. Just the 2 of us. Kinda like Carrie Bradshaw and Big did in the end.

Get yourself good at self defense, carry enough water and plenty of condoms.

Thanks, according to my only sister she'll be fine...it's just she lives across the country, and I don't want to tell her over the phone, so...
She's going to be probably the last person to find out. I'm actually excited to tell her. icon_smile.gif
