Hey I am a 28 year old male who just recently started working out seriously last month. My before and after pic is pending but I have gone from 120-130.
I am or I should say I was eating 3000 calories a day of good whole solid foods. My problem is I was spending 100 a week on those foods and although I saw wonderful gains with little fat it was breaking my bank account.
Does anyone have any times on cheaper good foods to eat?
This is my grocery list below.
For the most part it has been tweaked here and there but its been so expensive.

    any help would be appreciated!

    3 hard-boiled eggs
    1 yogurt
    1 banana
    1 protein shake

    1 apple
    1 can of Tuna
    1 Yogurt

    8 oz Chicken
    1 cup of brown rice
    1 cup of broccoli
    1 cup of carrots

    1 cup of Almonds
    1 Orange
    Celery and peanut butter

    8 oz Steak
    1 cup of Asparagus
    1 cup of Green Beans
    1 Protein shake

Get a Costco card. Eggs, meats, veggies will cheaper. If there isn't a Costco near you, then start clipping coupons. Some stores honor other store coupons. And of course there are stores that will double coupons on certain promotions.

For protein powders and supplements, check Amazon. They offer a neat feature where you can "subscribe" to some supplements and get a discount.
