Especially when they engineer it so that you not only crave the "food", but only their specific brand of food will satisfy the addiction.

    Google Glass

Maybe the surveillance menace of the future won't be a fascist regime with spy cameras on every corner, but rather an army of geeks recording every waking moment of our lives with a nod of the head and the wink of an eye.
Aside from the inherent dorkiness of Glass, privacy is the biggest concern with the latest foray into world domination. What's to stop a Glasshead from turning on his camera in the subway, the doctor's office or the gym locker room? Several U.S. casinos, bars, art galleries and movie theaters have already banned Glass. Google says that Glass isn't that creepy. For example, a small light indicates when video is being recorded and Glass wearers have to look at a subject and wink to take a picture. Yeah, that's not creepy at all.
Another scary prospect is the combination of Glass, social media and facial recognition technology. Some app developers are excited about the prospect of a Glass app that can recognize a stranger's face and pull up information about the person scoured from their Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Google has patented eye-tracking technology that would record what ads you look at in the real world and charge fees to advertisers on a "pay-per-gaze" basis.

This is old technology. They have or had them at Disneyland in Anaheim; I saw it when I was a kid about 30 years ago. One was president Lincoln; so there is definitely a male version, but no peen. The connection was through his feet so no dancing around.

By "connection" I meant to an external computer. But these days when we can put a full blown linux system in a cell phone it's not necessary to have an external computer so that rod to her torso was probably so that she could dance around.

Isn't that some shit? Saw several documentaries about reverse engineering leptin(hunger hormone) to suppress the hormone via food consumption. Leptin inhibitors they call it...

Makes you think twice about where you decide to eat out at. That's why I don't eat out at all. Then again, when you do your best to actually buy good food, you have to wonder what organic material has been cross-contaminated with GMO products. LOL Industrial Agri-business (not culture): Creating an obese world, one kid at a time.

If you take the time to think about it, world banks, agribusiness, private medicine and pharmaceuticals all profit from making us sick. The agenda is as follows:

Bad Food that's pretty >> FDA lies about safety >> humans accept lie >> chomp chomp >> sick citizens >> medical care >> pharmaceuticals and their miracle drugs (temporarily mitigate sickness so they can go back and eat some more bad food, only to return again when the medicine's concentration stops working) >> Repeat Cycle until Death >> next victim >> profit. All in moderation my ass. Poison is poison.

Sounds silly... that's because it is fucking silly. Silly indeed. The only thing those business leaders care about is how many pennies they can get from you and that is ALL.

But who's to say they're not putting those same "hunger hormones" in our produce we buy from the supermarket?

You're certainly right, but I know I don't crave produce like I used to crave all that poison from Taco Bell, McDonald's and Jack n' the Box. LOL
